
This DC-4 was part of fleet from the colombian most important airline 
on the 50's.
First DC-4 arrived on january 22 1947 and covered the international routes
from Bogota non-stop to Miami with final destination New York.
DC-4's also flown from Bogota to Mexico City via Montego Bay in Jamaica.
Longest trip was on march 1950 when DC-4 open the intercontinental service
Bogota- Caracas- San Juan- Lisboa- Roma -Paris.
In 1956 one of these planes was used to transport the colombian olimpics
delegation to Melbourne. That was an extraordinary trip for those days:
Bogota-Barranquilla-Brownsville TX-Sa Francisco-Hawaii-Fiji-Canton Islands
and finally Melbourne
